Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to develop, manage, and continuously improve cash forecasting capabilities for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and its subsidiaries. This role leads analysis of cash flow trends and provides insights for strategic decision-making and capital allocation.

This position requires 8+ years of related experience (or 10+ years in lieu of degree) and offers hybrid work with competitive compensation and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in related field; in lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of cash flow forecasts (short-, mid-, long-term).
• Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Communicate trends and forecast drivers to Senior Management and the Board.
• Partner with Finance, Treasury Ops, Actuarial, Investments to gather forecast assumptions.
• Optimize excess cash and maximize return per investment policies.
