Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to develop and manage cash forecasting for Blue Cross NC and its subsidiaries. You will lead analysis of cash flow trends, identify drivers of liquidity, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.

Collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments and business leaders to improve forecast accuracy and optimize excess cash in line with investment policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required or encouraged where applicable.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of cash flow forecasts across time horizons.
• Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and patterns.
• Communicate trends, forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities to Senior Management and the Board in a concise manner.
• Partner with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments and other leaders to gather forecast assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
• Optimize excess cash and maximize returns in line with the company’s investment policies.
