Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Treasury Analyst to develop, manage, and improve cash forecasting for Blue Cross NC and its subsidiaries. You will lead analyses of cash flow trends, identify liquidity drivers, and provide insights to support strategic decisions and capital allocation.

You will collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other leaders to gather forecast assumptions, improve accuracy, and optimize cash returns under company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree is required.
8+ years of experience in a related field.
In lieu of degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of cash flow forecasts.
Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify drivers and risks.
Communicate trends, forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities to Senior Management and the Board.
Partner with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other business leaders to gather forecast assumptions.
Optimize excess cash and maximize returns per investment policies.
