Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatcher in a hybrid role to support fleet operations nationwide. You will manage end-to-end maintenance transactions, document customer interactions, and ensure the right technicians are assigned for each account.

Ideal candidates excel in communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration, with a background in fleet maintenance or trucking experience preferred. The position offers day shifts and a base hourly pay around market rates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years related experience; alternative combinations accepted.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to liaise across levels.
• Strong organizational skills and cross-functional collaboration ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the follow-up maintenance transactions lifecycle from origination to custody of repair technician.
• Document interactions accurately in Cox Fleet systems and communicate with customers.
• Provide excellent customer service for internal and external calls and build rapport.
• Obtain customer approvals for repairs and services; schedule preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with Field Operations to deploy the right technicians to accounts.
• Encourage proactive scheduling to create a steady pipeline of work.
