Job summary

Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking a Financial Systems Administrator to support the Finance Department's suite of systems, including Aderant and related tools. You will resolve service desk requests, manage configurations, and work with IT to implement improvements.

The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with ERP systems, and a focus on data governance and reporting. Hybrid work with residencies in Cleveland or Chicago is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration or accounting with IS focus.
• Previous law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in relational databases and database administration.
• 2–3 years of experience with accounting or ERP systems and relational databases.
• Strong computer skills including advanced Excel, SQL, SSRS.
• Understanding of project management and change management disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial systems, user support, and training for Aderant and related tools.
• Handle user access administration and employee management tasks.
• Perform mass updates in Aderant via SQL.
• Execute monthly and annual rate changes for standard, exception and variable rates.
• Update bill images when documents are modified.
• Provide support to external vendors and coordinate with IT.
• Respond to service desk requests and analyze root causes.
• Write SQL queries for reporting and compliance needs.
• Develop and document financial system administration policies.
• Act as data steward for financial and operational data and enable reporting.
