Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager I to lead a team of accounting professionals in the accurate and timely preparation of financial information for management and external users. The role supports US operations, drives technical accounting research, and ensures audit compliance across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, CPA knowledge, and expertise in GAAP, with experience in manufacturing accounting and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain schedules (capital projects, inventory, accruals) and reconcile to GL.
• Record intercompany transactions and oversee global intercompany activity.
• Generate periodic financial statements in US GAAP.
• Lead technical accounting research and prepare whitepapers on complex issues.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff; drive process improvements in close.
