Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to senior management, group logistics managers, and logistics managers.

The role involves monthly close, forecasting, cost improvement identification, and cross-functional collaboration. You will train business unit staff on financial tools and policies, ensure SOX compliance, and coordinate with Ryder’s Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field is required.
• MBA preferred for advanced financial analysis.
• 2–4 years in a corporate finance department or consulting is required.
• 5+ years post-MBA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly close, including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales leaders to identify cost/productivity opportunities.
• Forecasting, budgeting and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to business unit staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls.
