Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial analysis and strategic support to senior management and logistics leaders.

The role includes month-end closing, forecasting, and business planning to drive cost efficiency across the organization. You will partner with operations and sales directors, train staff on financial tools, assist with SOX compliance, and coordinate with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 2–4 years in corporate finance within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm is required.
• 5+ years post MBA is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (intermediate) is required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify cost/productivity improvements with Operations leadership.
• Financial Planning & Analysis including forecasting and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff.
• Assist SOX compliance and audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
