Job summary

Momentec Brands Inc. in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to lead U.S. inventory accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, and act as a finance partner to operations leaders across distribution and decoration.

The role collaborates with U.S. and international teams to analyze results, drive process improvements, manage variances, and support annual planning, forecasting, and close cycles. Requires strong accounting background and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, or cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial accounting for U.S. inventory, including reconciliations and controls.
• Review balance sheet accounts and P&L to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Analyze results against plan and explain key drivers of variances.
• Lead review of excess/obsolete inventory and reserve adequacy.
• Partner with operations on cycle counts, adjustments, and accuracy.
• Support planning, forecasting, and month/quarter-end close activities.
