Job summary

Christofle Silver Inc. is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee the US and Canada general ledger, month-end close, inventory, and AP/AR operations. You will partner with senior finance leadership on close activities, audits, and ad hoc financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has strong US GAAP expertise, personnel leadership experience, and a proactive mindset to drive process improvements and internal controls across hybrid operations.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree in accounting (Progress toward MBA/CPA/CMA a plus)
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managing general ledger, month-end close processes, and accounts receivable/payable; prior supervisory experience required.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, with experience in inventory related and/or CPG accounting environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems/ERP expertise, D365 a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing bank reconciliations required
• Experience with Balance Sheet reconciliations required
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience managing treasury process and banking relationships preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee General Ledger, Close & Financial Reporting activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and supporting schedules.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting deliverables and analyses for management.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations; investigate variances.
• Coordinate statutory audit processes and documentation.
• Oversee inventory accounting, reserves, aging, and obsolescence analyses.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions, vendor relations, and reporting discrepancies.
• Supervise and develop staff; drive process improvements, automation, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership on close activities, audits, and ad hoc analyses.
• Support cross-functional meetings and special projects with strong internal controls.
