Momentec Brands in Kannapolis, NC seeks a Financial Accounting Manager to lead U.S. inventory, distribution and decoration financials, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting.

You will partner with operations and finance teams to drive reliable accounting and insightful performance analysis. The role requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions to improve processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing or cost accounting.
• Ability to analyze balance sheet and P&L drivers.
• Experience with manufacturing/distribution operations preferred.
• Professional certifications (CPA/CMA/MBA) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial accounting for U.S. inventory, including reconciliations and controls.
• Review key balance sheet and P&L results for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Analyze results against plan/forecast and explain variances.
• Lead review of excess/obsolete inventory and ensure appropriate reserves.
• Partner with operations on cycle counts and inventory improvements.
• Analyze standard costs and manufacturing variances and explain drivers.
• Provide financial insight to distribution and decoration leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
