Job summary

Opto-Alignment Technology is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Charlotte HQ. You will own day-to-day data entry, accounting and financial reporting using MS Dynamics Business Central, and directly impact the P&L and inventory accounting.

This is a hands-on, small-business environment where you work with the President and Leadership Team. The role emphasizes practical, reliable accounting processes and close collaboration with operations.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience as Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant.
• Advanced level of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience (required).
• Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory.
• Strong understanding of P&L ownership.
• Experience in a small or family-owned business environment.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Manage inventory accounting, costing, and adjustments
• Maintain the general ledger in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Oversee AP, AR, reconciliations, and payroll coordination
• Analyze margins, variances, and operating results
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
• Work closely with Leadership, Inventory Manager and Operations
• Coordinate with external CPA for taxes and year‑end close
• Improve accounting processes and documentation
