Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate for its Dallas, TX office. The role offers a hybrid schedule with three days in the office, working within a premier AmLaw 100 financial disputes team.

The attorney will handle high-stakes matters involving commercial transactions, debt restructurings, and related litigation, collaborating across offices to deliver strategic, client-focused results.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at a top firm preferred.
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation.
• Ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting, discovery, depositions, trial prep, and motions.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal/state courts and arbitration.
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit to trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementation.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other court filings.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft complex motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client meetings.
