Pni Corp in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting. This hybrid role leads the financial reporting function, overseeing internal and external reports, regulatory filings, and state and local premium tax compliance.

The position directs staff, establishes performance objectives, and ensures timely, accurate reporting in line with GAAP and statutory requirements. Collaboration with auditors and leadership is essential.

Formación

• Minimum five years of experience in public accounting or insurance accounting.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• High knowledge of Statutory and GAAP insurance accounting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, direct and coach staff, set objectives and monitor performance.
• Lead communications with staff, encourage open dialogue in meetings.
• Develops and monitors practices for reporting, reconciliation, interpretation and analysis.
• Evaluate staffing needs and mentor employees for full utilization.
• Determine training emphasis and deliver Financial Reporting education.
• Manage statutory and GAAP financial reporting, including consolidated statements and regulatory filings.
• Oversee state and local premium tax returns and ad hoc projects.
• Maintain general ledger close process and account reconciliations.
• Identify tasks and resources to achieve strategic objectives.
