Job summary

Keystone in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Manager, Technical Accounting & External Reporting to lead external financial reporting, technical accounting, and audits. CPA with a strong public accounting foundation is preferred for hands-on GAAP work and ownership of reporting processes.

You will manage consolidated statements, ASC 606/842/805, lease accounting, and earnout/advisory matters, coordinating with auditors and cross-functional finance teams. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; active CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in Big 4 or large regional public accounting.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606, ASC 340-40, ASC 842, ASC 805 and fair-value/contingent- consideration accounting.
• Experience preparing GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Excellent technical research, analytical and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Manage annual audited financial statements and interim reporting.
• Own reporting deliverables required by lenders (covenants, certificates, credit facility reporting).
• Maintain close calendars and timely submissions to external stakeholders.
• Lead revenue recognition and contract costs accounting across commission streams.
• Manage lease accounting (ASC 842), including ROUs and lease liabilities.
• Research complex accounting matters and prepare technical memoranda.
• Coordinate external audit timelines and deliverables with auditors.
