Progyny, Inc. in New York City, NY, seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to drive statutory financial reporting, NAIC filings, insurance-related accounting, and regulatory application support.

The role collaborates with Legal, Compliance and the accounting team to support the monthly close and ensure accurate, timely submissions. A CPA and five+ years in insurance accounting are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred.
• Five+ years in insurance accounting, statutory reporting, or financial reporting.
• Experience filing NAIC statutory financial statements and state filings.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting principles and NAIC reporting.
• Experience managing reporting across multiple legal entities.
• Experience with regulatory applications and licensing documentation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale statutory accounting and financial reporting for growing insurance ops.
• Own preparation and submission of NAIC statutory statements and schedules.
• Manage reporting across multiple entities; develop GAAP-to-statutory conversions.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close for insurance entities, including RBAC and variances.
• Coordinate regulatory applications, amendments, and licensing docs.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders on regulatory approvals.
• Monitor NAIC guidance and GAAP/statutory changes; assess impacts.
• Document accounting conclusions with clear memoranda and guidance.
• Support management reporting, board materials, and risk analyses.
• Design scalable processes and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support statutory audits and state inquiries with documentation.
