Job summary

Mobile Modular Portable Storage - A Division of McGrath is seeking a Sales Representative to develop strategies for renting portable storage solutions across multiple industries. The role emphasizes new business development, relationship building, and delivering accurate estimates with exceptional service.

You will work in a hybrid setup, spending part of your time at home and in the Mira Loma area meeting customers, prospecting, and networking to grow the branch footprint.

Qualifications

• 1+ years outside sales experience.
• Proven experience prospecting for new customers.
• Proven experience in sales, inside and outside.
• Effective negotiation and closing skills.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills across verbal and written formats.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High motivation and passion for sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and customer databases.
• Interpersonal skills with strong organizational abilities.
• Effective time management in a process-driven environment.
• Decision-making within guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and grow existing business to increase profits for the branch/region.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email or in-person visits.
• Build relationships with potential customers to establish trust.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
• Close customer deals through generated leads and prospecting.
• Increase market share in new and established markets.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and inventory teams to provide solutions and exceptional customer experience.
• Place a high volume of outbound calls to match products/services to customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records in the division's database on quotes, specs, and requests.
• Develop relationships within networking organizations or industry associations.
• Achieve/exceed sales quotas and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned
