Job summary

Pickering Interfaces, a leader in modular signal switching, seeks a Field Sales Engineer to drive growth in Automated Testing markets. This hybrid role combines technical engagement with strategic account development from a home office in the Denver Metro or Salt Lake City area.

You will support customers, mentor accounts, and feed market insights back to product teams while using Salesforce.com for funnel management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical concepts with engineering and/or sales experience.
Experience with LabVIEW, PXI or similar modular automated test environments.
Excellent negotiating, analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand Pickering's market share with target accounts and markets.
Provide front-line technical support for customers and pre/post-sales support.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
Maintain opportunity funnel/forecast and report progress to management.
Present proposals, negotiate orders, and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
Demonstrate product knowledge in discussions with systems engineers.
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Operations on new product direction.
Travel across the United States to develop the business as needed.
