Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Security Systems Infrastructure Engineer to support our federal ESS projects. This hybrid role can be based in the Washington, DC metro area with periodic visits to Rockville, MD and other project sites as needed.

You will manage Windows servers, AD DS, DNS/DHCP, and network security for enterprise security systems, working with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows Server administration, network integration, and security infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to setup, integrate, test, and document environments for operation.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022 and 2025; AD DS setup and admin.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, troubleshoot, and support Windows servers and network services for enterprise ESS.
• Install and manage AD DS and domain controllers; DNS/DHCP and Group Policy.
• Configure Hyper-V and basic server virtualization; ensure security hardening.
