Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks a Security System Estimator to support the federal and regional security projects. This role collaborates with sales, engineers, and operations to develop estimates and win new business across the Mid-Atlantic.

The estimator will manage customer relationships, leverage estimating software, and coordinate with partners to ensure value and successful project delivery. Remote/hybrid work is available with regional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical field experience with installation and/or service of electronic security systems (access controls, CCTV, intrusion detection).
• Subject matter expertise in intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and security network architecture.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications; strong integrity and quality focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• U.S. citizen able to obtain state licenses and DoD security clearances.
• Ability to travel within the region ~25%.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop and provide estimation support for small to mid-size electronic security projects.
• Support security sales in opportunity development, sales and closure under sales lead guidance.
• Engage new customers to promote security solutions and identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with OEMs and local contractors.
• Maintain an updated proposal log in Salesforce for installation and service proposals.
• Provide monthly sales forecast to regional sales manager.
• Collaborate with technical partners to support sales opportunities.
• Engage customers post-warranty to discuss service agreements and expansions.
• Advocate for customers to secure best value from Johnson Controls offerings.
