Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems is seeking an Electronic Security Sales Account Executive to grow profitability within the federal sector. You will manage federal accounts in the DC/Norfolk corridor, lead capture efforts, and drive renewal and expansion of security solutions across the enterprise.

The role requires deep knowledge of electronic security systems, strong client communication, and the ability to travel up to 50%. An active DoD clearance or eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in development and sales of electronic security systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for senior leaders and military officials.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within DC Metro and Norfolk area.

Responsibilities

• Sell a broad range of Johnson Controls and other OEM electronic security products to federal customers.
• Develop and manage an account portfolio in assigned territory.
• Lead capture management for competitive solicitations and contribute to proposals.
• Drive recurring revenue through maintenance and software support renewals.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for related Johnson Controls portfolio solutions.
• Lead customer presentations and system demonstrations to win opportunities.
• Develop account plans and execute growth initiatives in target accounts.
