Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is looking for an experienced Electronic Security Systems Field Engineer to join their federal team. This remote role requires approximately 75% travel to support Department of Defense projects across the United States. The position offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $105,000, with benefits starting on the first day of employment.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the Electronic Security industry and strong technical skills in systems design and commissioning. Candidates based in Huntsville, AL, or the Washington D.C. Metro area are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience in the commercial or industrial Electronic Security industry.
• Hands-on technical experience with systems design, commissioning, and/or programming of Electronic Security Systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete Electronic Security projects safely and cost-effectively.
• Develop project plans and coordinate required resources for installation and completion.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety standards.
