Job summary

Lightspeed Systems in Austin, TX, is seeking an Events & Marketing Assistant to help drive our presence at K–12 tech events. You will research relevant industry events, manage registrations, booth logistics, and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-site success.

Working within the Marketing team and reporting to the Events Manager, you will support lead capture, nurture campaigns, and CRM data hygiene, while assisting with content coordination and general marketing projects.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in event coordination, marketing, or related client-facing roles; four-year degree required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving parts.
• Thrive on logistics, deadlines, and vendor coordination in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows aligned with company goals.
• Manage event registration - booth space, sponsorships, and attendee sign-ups.
• Coordinate event logistics - travel, pre-event communications, show service orders.
• Support post-event follow-up, including lead capture organization and CRM handoff.
• Support lead conversion - nurture campaigns and CRM data hygiene.
