Job summary

PORT CITY BAKERY, a growing food manufacturing company with six plants, seeks a Business Analyst to evaluate processes, document requirements, and drive ERP/EDI improvements. You will partner with plant teams, leaders, and vendors to translate business needs into practical solutions and support AI‑enabled automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in business/IS/operations.
• 3–5 years in business analysis or process improvement with independent work.
• Experience participating in ERP implementation or major upgrade (gathering requirements, testing, data prep, training).
• Manufacturing experience preferred, especially multi-plant food manufacturing.
• Ability to lead requirements discussions and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong organization, judgment, ability to prioritize and escalate when needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with plant staff and stakeholders.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to review, validate, reconcile data.
• Experience with ERP (Business Central) and EDI, Power BI, process mapping, AI/automation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct interviews, plant observations, and sessions to understand processes and needs.
• Document workflows, requirements, gaps, and acceptance criteria; validate with owners.
• Compare practices across plants and document differences; recommend common processes.
• Evaluate alternatives and quantify benefits; propose solutions to reduce manual effort and errors.
