Job summary
Prince Industries, a Chicago-area contract manufacturer, is seeking a Business Analyst to optimize Epicor ERP and standardize processes across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. You will partner with stakeholders to document requirements, design future-state workflows, and drive ERP-driven improvements.
Ideal candidates have 3-7 years in manufacturing analytics, strong process-mapping skills, and experience configuring ERP systems.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of Business Analyst experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Epicor ERP.
- Strong business process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, customer service, engineering, and quality functions.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify business requirements, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Design future-state business processes that improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and customer service.
- Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, SIPOC diagrams, value stream maps, and SOPs.
- Ensure process documentation remains current and reflects operational best practices.
- Lead process standardization efforts across departments and acquisitions.
- Translate business requirements into Epicor configurations, workflows, dashboards, BAQs, reports, and automation solutions.
- Support ERP upgrades, testing, implementation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with troubleshooting business process and system issues.
- Develop and maintain ERP-related documentation, training materials, and user guides.
