Job summary

Astound is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical SME supporting an Enterprise Account team focused on Ethernet Services, DIA, and Private Networking. The role includes pre-sales support, proposals, and network design guidance.

You will attend customer meetings, prepare pricing requests, and train Enterprise teams while working in a hybrid environment with travel up to 50%. Base salary ranges from $95,000 to $102,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or equivalent experience.
• Certification supporting Astound’s product/services (Cisco, Ciena, AWS, Microsoft, Adva) desired.
• 3–5 years’ experience supporting telecom services to Enterprise accounts.
• Proven track record of building and executing technical solutions and sales strategies.
• Networking fundamentals and IP routing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative pre-sales technical support to develop proposals.
• Attend customer meetings in person or via phone/web.
• Prepare technical proposals, network topologies, drawings, and pricing requests.
• Build relationships as the technical liaison from pre-sales to post-sales.
• Provide technical training to Enterprise Account teams.
