Job summary

Astound is seeking a Sales Engineer to support Enterprise Account teams with a focus on Ethernet Services, DIA and Private Networking, plus Voice, UC and SD-WAN.

You will serve as the technical SME, crafting proposals and network drawings to meet customer requirements, attending meetings in person or virtually, and building lasting customer relationships.

You may travel up to 50% across the US; a BS degree and relevant certifications are preferred, with a strong networking background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience
• Certifications related to Astound products/services are desirable
• Minimum 3–5 years in telecom/enterprise pre-sales/support

Responsibilities

• Attend customer meetings in person or remote
• Prepare technical proposals and network topologies
• Develop pricing requests with Sales Executives
• Build customer relationships as technical liaison pre- to post-sales
• Provide technical training to Enterprise Account teams
• Travel up to 50% as required
