Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead large capital and operational projects across multiple sites, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. The role blends project management with engineering, contractor oversight, and field engagement to improve facility reliability and growth.

Responsibilities include developing scopes, costs, and schedules, coordinating with engineering, operations, and EHSQ, and moving projects from concept to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• 5–10 years overall work experience.
• Ability to rapidly gain proficiency in Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and remove barriers to execution.
• Influential leadership with strong facilitation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital and operational projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules and business justifications.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, operations, EHSQ and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Travel to branch locations to assess facility needs and opportunities.
