Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead large capital and operational projects across multiple sites, combining project management, engineering expertise, contractor oversight, and field engagement to support facility infrastructure, reliability and growth.

This hybrid role can be based in Morrisville, PA or nearby locations and requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, 5–10 years of experience, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification, preferred.
• 5-10 years overall work experience.
• Ability to rapidly gain proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma principles and delivery methodologies.
• Influential leadership with strong facilitation and ability to drive results.
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Ability to work autonomously in remote locations across geographies.
• Ability to teach and train CI courses to internal candidates.
• Capacity to meet deadlines with multiple priorities.
• Ability to facilitate cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Strong data analysis, root cause analysis and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Access and statistical software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital and operational projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safe delivery within scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules and business justifications while coordinating across engineering, operations, EHSQ and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, resolve issues and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Provide engineering support for facility infrastructure, storage/handling systems, piping, pumps, fire protection, loading operations and other assets.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers and service providers.
• Travel to branch locations to assess facility needs and collaborate with branch managers and operations teams to improve reliability and safety.
