Job summary

Univar Solutions in Jamestown, NC is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead capital and operational projects from concept through implementation. You will ensure safe execution, on-schedule delivery within budget, and close collaboration with engineering, operations, EHSQ, and business stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred), and 5–10 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• 5–10 years overall work experience.
• Ability to gain high proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma and delivery methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and remove barriers to execution.
• Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, customers and partners.
• Ability to work autonomously in remote locations while coordinating CI activities across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple capital and operational projects from concept to implementation, on schedule and within budget.
• Provide engineering support for facility infrastructure and critical assets.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers during project execution.
• Travel to branch locations to assess facility needs and align priorities with leaders.
