Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the execution of transmission, substation and distribution projects in a hybrid role with the option to work from home part of the time. You will coordinate with multiple internal and external teams to manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and budget targets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of project management experience in utilities, construction, engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and capital projects.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a lead or support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel ~10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget and client experience.
• Manage all phases of project life cycle from initiation to closeout.
• Direct and mentor the project team to ensure accountability.
• Develop positive relationships with client leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to complete projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify, track and control change and risk.
• Communicate with stakeholders and prepare clear project reports.
