Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC seeks a Training/Communications Specialist to design and deliver end‑user IT training for CLIENT's enterprise services in a Washington, DC hybrid environment. The role requires applying instructional design methodologies, creating content libraries, and ensuring accessibility across all materials.

You will lead delivery of instructor‑led and virtual trainings, coordinate logistics, and develop knowledge base resources and LMS procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on IT training development, instructional design, and technical communications experience in an enterprise environment.
Proven experience delivering instructor‑led and virtual IT training to diverse audiences in an enterprise environment.
Experience developing IT service communications for enterprise IT environments, including maintenance notifications, service announcements, and new service introductions.
Demonstrated experience developing Section 508‑compliant training materials and communications content.
Experience developing and maintaining knowledge base content and self‑service user guidance.
Familiarity with ITIL 4 service management practices as applied to knowledge management and service communications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop end-user IT training programs for enterprise IT services, tools, and platforms, including onboarding and major platform updates.
Deliver instructor‑led and virtual training sessions, in-person and online, and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
Ensure Section 508 accessibility compliance across training materials and communications.
Create and maintain knowledge base content, self‑service guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources.
Develop and maintain LMS administration procedures, course catalogs, enrollments, and reporting.
Coordinate with stakeholders to reflect current configurations and best practices in content.
Build training needs assessments and evaluation frameworks to measure effectiveness.
Support development of service communications and digital content for intranet and portals.
