Job summary

CNA Insurance in Chicago seeks an Employee Relations Senior Consultant to provide guidance to managers, employees and HR partners on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, timely resolution and policy interpretation.

You will lead end-to-end investigations, coach on performance management, document findings, and help refine HR policies and tools, contributing to risk mitigation and a compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six+ years in employee relations.
• Experience managing investigations and providing policy guidance.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations while ensuring legal compliance.
• Investigate complaints and manage investigations end-to-end.
• Coach managers on performance management and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in CNA’s case management system.
• Support development of HR policies and training tools.
• Collaborate with HR partners and stakeholders.
