The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking an events coordinator to plan and manage events across Student Union spaces, coordinate reservations through Mazevo, and serve as a primary contact for clients. The role supports campus partners, assists with services, and collaborates with multiple departments to ensure successful events.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s Degree and 1+ year of events experience, with strong MS Office skills and exceptional organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Customer service principles and techniques.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to advise student organizations and campus partners on event planning.
• Experience collaborating across departments and programs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.

Responsabilités

• Plan events in Student Union spaces and serve as a secondary contact.
• Conduct planning meetings with clients to discuss event details.
• Process reservation requests through Mazevo for student organizations and departments.
• Assist with requesting services from various campus units.
• Support day-to-day operations of the Meeting and Event Planning Office.
• Oversee Union Reservations email and phone line.
• Coordinate with operations staff to ensure event needs are met.
• May work evenings and weekends; perform other duties as assigned.
