Job summary

Gateway Foundation is seeking a Senior IS Business Analyst to bridge clinical stakeholders, operations, and IT for an upcoming EHR implementation. Hybrid role based in Chicago with some travel, leading requirements gathering, workflow design, training, and change management to optimize clinical workflows and system functionality.

You will partner with leaders, end users, and vendors to deploy, adopt, and continually improve EHR and related clinical technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Business or related field.
• 5+ years supporting an EHR for a behavioral health provider; EHR implementation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health workflows and clinical documentation.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modeling and workflow optimization.
• Experience in production support within IT ticketing frameworks.
• Familiarity with project management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observations.
• Translate clinical and business needs into functional requirements, workflow designs, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to develop effective technology solutions.
• Lead implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the EHR and related clinical technologies.
• Configure, test, and enhance system functionality to support clinical documentation, care coordination, reporting, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain system integrations, data exchanges, and governance standards.
• Analyze clinical and operational data to support quality improvement and regulatory reporting.
