Job summary

Lucet is hiring a USPS Clinical Consultant to deliver comprehensive EAP services across in-person, phone, and video formats. The role requires licensure, a master’s or doctorate in clinical mental health, and 5+ years of clinical experience.

The position involves hybrid work with local travel and in-office time in Jackson, MS, serving the USPS EAP program. The role emphasizes crisis response, training, and collaboration with USPS leadership, with strong compliance to privacy laws and background

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability to complete accurate bio-psychosocial assessments, including risk and substance abuse assessments.
• Specialized experience and/or training in phone and video counseling.
• Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, duty to warn and reporting requirements.
• A master’s and/or doctorate degree from an accredited clinical mental health program.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience after graduation.
• Current state license or certification to practice as a mental health professional.
• Willingness to undergo a USPS background check and Public Trust investigation.
• Citizenship requirements and ability to work as a USPS contractor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual counseling through in-person, phone, and video sessions.
• Handle high-acuity, crisis, and critical-incident situations with sound judgment.
• Provide triage, consultation, and referrals via the USPS Service Center.
• Offer consultation, training, and support to USPS and union leadership.
• Promote EAP services and participate in rotational call coverage.
