Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an EAP Counselor in a hybrid role delivering services remotely, in the office, and at client locations. You will conduct clinical assessments, provide brief counseling, coaching, and crisis response, and collaborate with staff to improve service quality and client experience.

The role emphasizes training development, program support, and building partnerships across departments to support employees and program participants.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (counseling, psychology, social work) is required.
• Current LMHC or LMSW licensure is required; other credentials preferred.
• CEAP certification or pursuing CEAP is preferred; experience with EAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on team projects to strengthen EAP service delivery for employees and businesses.
• Provides consultation to employees and organizations on workplace concerns.
• Coordinates referrals with HR and organizational leaders for performance and workplace issues.
• Conducts clinical assessments to evaluate risk and substance use and determine level of care.
• Facilitates on-site support after critical workplace incidents, including debriefing and psychological first aid.
• Represents EAP at health fairs and wellness events.
• Develops and presents EAP orientation sessions for employees and managers.
• Supports a high-performing, team-oriented environment and cross-department relationships.
