United Way Miami is seeking a Development Officer to build community relationships and address health and human service needs through fundraising initiatives. You will develop and manage campaigns across corporate, employee, and individual donors while collaborating with internal teams to increase impact.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 1–2 years in fundraising, sales, or related fields. It offers a hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management or related field.
• Public speaking, adaptability, and trend analysis skills.

• Execute campaign processes, including planning, volunteer recruitment, training, and donor cultivation.
• Develop workplace program initiatives and coordinate with teams for fundraising delivery.
• Identify major and planned gift prospects and collaborate with major gifts teams.
• Prepare team reports and maintain data quality in CRM tooling.
• Conduct prospective donor meetings and steward existing donors through regular communication.
