United Way Miami is hiring a Development Officer to build relationships in the community and address health and human service needs through fundraising initiatives including corporate, employee, and individual giving.

You will execute campaign processes, develop workplace programs, and collaborate with gifts teams while managing donor communications and reports. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 1–2 years in related fields.

Competenze

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: One to two years in sales, marketing, fundraising, volunteer management or related field.
• Technology: Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; familiarity with Andar CRM.
• Other: Public speaking, adaptability, trend awareness, negotiation and people skills. Spanish helpful but not required.

Mansioni

• Execute the campaign process including strategy, recruitment, training and management.
• Develop workplace program initiatives for service delivery, information, referral, and volunteer development.
• Collaborate with Major & Planned Gifts to identify prospects and solicit donors.
• Prepare team reports, goal setting, tracking, and call reports.
• Conduct public speaking sessions for organizations, events and donors.
• Meet with prospective donors and steward existing donors through ongoing communications.
• Manage loaned executives and ensure data quality in Andar CRM.
• Coordinate with administrative, marketing and engagement teams.
