Job summary

All Stars Project Inc. in New York, NY, seeks a Database and Development Lead to support fundraising operations and database administration. You will handle donor administration, acknowledgments, and gifts processing, and coordinate data needs for events nationwide.

The role reports to the Assistant Director of Data Management, working with the national development team. The position is hybrid and requires in-person presence at the NY office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in Raiser's Edge 7 and Raiser's Edge NXT (or similar), including data administration tools.
• Experience with data analytics tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and motivated.
• Understanding of poverty-related issues and a commitment to creating educational and developmental opportunities for underserved youth outside of school contexts.
• Ability to work independently as well as on small, highly collaborative teams.
• Ability to lead groups of volunteers.
• Working knowledge of fundraising principles and practices.
• Excellent administrative and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data activities associated with processing gifts and maintaining constituent records.
• Process contributions (checks, online gifts, and credit card transactions) daily and ensure pledges and gifts are recorded accurately.
• Manage the acknowledgment letter process for gifts in all markets, coordinating with national fundraisers.
• Produce daily income reports and manage all responses.
• Manage master email lists and create lists for email campaigns in Constant Contact and Raiser's Edge (NXT).
• Manage the import of program data (students, alumni, interns, and corporate volunteers).
• Handle data needs for special segments including data entry and exports for staff and ASP leaders.
• Lead fundraising administration of the national gala and Fall events, including event module usage and volunteer registration.
