Job summary

The All Stars Project of New York seeks a Database and Development Lead to support donor administration and the national fundraising operation. You will process gifts, generate acknowledgments, and coordinate event data across markets in a hybrid setting from the NY regional office.

You will work with Raiser's Edge and Constant Contact, reporting to the Assistant Director of Data Management, helping the development team reach fundraising goals and maintain donor records efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in Raiser’s Edge 7 and Raiser’s Edge NXT (or similar), including data administration tools.
• Experience with data analytics tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and motivated.
• Understanding of poverty-related issues and a commitment to creating educational and developmental opportunities for underserved youth outside of school contexts.
• Ability to work independently as well as on small, highly collaborative teams.
• Ability to lead groups of volunteers.
• Working knowledge of fundraising principles and practices.
• Excellent administrative and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead in data activities for processing gifts and maintaining constituent records.
• Process contributions daily and ensure pledges and gifts are recorded accurately.
• Manage acknowledgment letter process for gifts across markets.
• Produce daily income reports and manage responses.
• Manage master email lists and create lists for campaigns in Constant Contact and Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Handle import of program data (students, alumni, interns, volunteers).
• Create exports of lists for staff and ASP leaders for special segments.
• Lead fundraising administration of the national gala and Fall events.
• Train volunteer registration teams at fundraising events.
