Job summary

The All Stars Project of New Jersey is seeking a Development Manager to drive fundraising, donor engagement, grant writing, events, and development operations. Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional fundraising or related experience.
• Excellent verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong writing and editing abilities for grants and communications.
• Proficient organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT, Airtable and Constant Contact preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Discretion handling confidential information; willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~80–100 donors with gifts typically ranging $50–$5,000.
• Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to improve retention and giving levels.
• Conduct donor outreach via phone, email, virtual and in-person meetings; log interactions in CRM.
• Support ASP NJ's annual fundraising strategy aiming for $1.75M.
• Coordinate meetings with donors, foundations, corporate partners, and prospects.
• Create donor communications, newsletters, appeals, and impact stories.
• Research prospective foundation and corporate supporters for funding opportunities.
• Maintain donor records and gift data in Raiser's Edge NXT and other systems.
• Prepare fundraising reports and donor lists to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with national Development team on cross-regional initiatives.
