Job summary

The Development Manager at All Stars Project of New Jersey will join the NJ development team to raise $1.75 million annually, engaging donors, writing grants, managing events and supporting development operations.

This hybrid role requires three days in the Newark regional office, reports to the Director of Development, and emphasizes building relationships with individuals, foundations and corporate partners.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience researching, writing, and preparing grant proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Donor Relationship Management: grow a portfolio of 80–100 donors; cultivate and solicit gifts.
• Foundation & Corporate Giving: write LOIs and grant proposals; maintain calendars.
• Events & Donor Engagement: assist with major events and donor stewardship activities.
• Development Operations: maintain donor records, acknowledgments, and reporting.
• Collaboration & Organizational Engagement: work with national team on cross-regional initiatives.
