Job summary

The role combines frontline fundraising, donor communications, grant writing, and event coordination, with hybrid work requiring in-person presence in New Jersey several days per week.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional experience in fundraising or related role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills—build authentic relationships.
• Strong writing and editing skills for proposals, reports, and campaigns.
• Proficient in project management and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Donor Relationship Management: grow 80–100 donors, develop engagement strategies, document interactions.
• Fundraising & Annual Giving: implement annual strategy to reach fundraising target, prepare materials and briefs.
• Foundation & Corporate Giving: write LOIs and grant proposals, coordinate reporting and timelines.
• Events & Donor Engagement: plan and execute major donor events and cultivation activities.
• Development Operations: maintain donor records, manage reporting and data in systems.
• Collaboration & Organizational Engagement: coordinate with national Development team and partnerships.
