Amgen in Houston is seeking a District Sales Manager to liaison with healthcare professionals, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen medicines. You will lead district teams, drive sales performance, and collaborate with Marketing, Finance and other business units to achieve targets.

The role requires 3+ years of specialty sales experience with at least 2 years of managerial leadership, and a strong understanding of healthcare markets and payer considerations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of specialty sales experience
• Biologics experience preferred
• Buy and bill model experience
• Ability to coach and develop teams
• 2 years of managerial or leadership experience leading teams or allocating resources

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with district, regional and corporate teams
• Track marketing messages, programs and resources usage
• Screen, interview and hire district staff
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching for development
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships
• Lead district sales meetings and guidance to districts
