Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in corporate/internal/executive communications, PR, or related roles.
• Exceptional writing, editing, message development, and storytelling for execs and employees.
• Ability to advise senior leaders, influence stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and decide under tight timelines.
• Strong project management across global teams.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, intranet platforms, content planning tools, and measurement approaches.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for content development while preserving quality and brand standards.
• English fluency required; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated enterprise communication strategies that support Fortrea’s priorities and leadership agenda.
• Advise senior leaders on messaging, stakeholder engagement, sequencing, tone, and channel strategy.
• Create executive-ready communications including press releases, media briefs, leadership messages, talking points, scripts, and intranet content.
• Lead communication planning for enterprise programs, organizational changes, and issues requiring coordinated messaging.
• Coordinate with HR, legal, investor relations, and other colleagues to ensure timely, accurate, audience-appropriate messages.
• Manage calendars, editorial plans, approvals, and measurement approaches to improve visibility and impact.
