Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a trainer to deliver instructor-led and virtual training programs for new staff, focusing on digital and technical skills. The role partners with the department to identify needs, develop materials, and train healthcare employees at all levels.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, assessing learner needs, designing proficiency assessments, coaching individuals, and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in adult education and/or curriculum design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Adult & Continuing Education or Computer Science preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Experience delivering instructor-led or virtual training.

Responsibilities

• Delivers instruction in the use of software and other technologies.
• Prepares lesson plans, including methods, materials, and documentation to be presented in class.
• Assesses the users’ training needs and proposes solutions for a diverse training population.
• Design and administer user proficiency assessments.
• Provide coaching to individual users as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge and proficiency through relevant educational forums.
• Participate in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs.
• Provide input into the development of training curriculum.
