Job summary

The New York Public Library, Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead the Institutional Services team in delivering digital access tools for patrons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of software/web project management experience.
• PMP and/or CSM certifications preferred.
• 5 years' project or program management experience with software/web teams.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from inception through delivery.
• Develop communication and capacity plans and provide status updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Lead all scrum ceremonies to enable rapid product development.
• Oversee vendor or agency partners involved in delivery.
• Support roadmapping for the Institutional Services team.
• Own progress tracking and adjust plans as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
