Job summary

The New York Public Library is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to support training programs for over 3,000 staff. You will administer Bridge LMS, coordinate onboarding, and assist in creating e-learning content.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent Development and Engagement, this hybrid role requires strong organization, communication, and collaboration across HR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in training, teaching, or event coordination.
• Experience creating instructional or onboarding materials.
• Exposure to LMS or e-learning tools through coursework or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Bridge LMS: assign/enroll courses, track completions, run reports, maintain records.
• Coordinate training sessions and onboarding logistics, including scheduling and communications.
• Co-facilitate Welcome Day onboarding sessions with HR team.
• Assist content development by updating and proofreading e-learning modules.
• Compile participant feedback and completion data into summary reports.
• Respond to staff inquiries about training and course access.
• Maintain training calendar and program documentation.
• Support travel between NYPL locations for training delivery.
