Job summary

The New York Power Authority is seeking a Corporate Librarian to support the NYPA corporate and engineering library in White Plains. The role focuses on administering digital resources, configuring library systems, and coordinating access to electronic platforms such as EOS/Sirsi Dynix and Libby for end users.

• Bachelor's degree in library science or related field.
• MLS preferred or working towards MLS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience with library systems and electronic resources.
• Ability to set up user accounts and manage access.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to and work closely with users to ensure their needs and requirements are met.
• Retrieve historical and reference materials for users.
• Set up user accounts and manage access to electronic information.
• Create and update online data records and cataloging procedures.
• Maintain library documents for electronic input and retrieval.
• Maintain the library, shelve and retrieve items, and manage overdue items.
